The 6 Best Groups for Female Entrepreneurs & Innovators in Denver and Boulder
Recently, I’ve been on a mission to find other badass women (icons even) who are crushing it in their careers, leading in big ways, and living full and passionate lives in the Denver and Boulder area. In principle, it sounds simple, but in reality, it’s challenging. That’s why I’ve compiled this cheatsheet of the top places where these badasses are congregating. This way, we can better find and celebrate each another (cheers to that, right?).

Leeds School Women’s Council: an outgrowth of the Leeds School of Business, is a group of women who act as role models and mentors for students in business and provide a valuable voice in educational experience. They also host an annual gathering call the WILD Summit.
Emerging Women: A global network and leadership platform for women who want to live the truth of who they are. With an ethos of authenticity, consciousness and connection. They host an annual conference too. Founded by Chantal Pierrat.
MergeLane: An investment fund focused on women-led startups. MergeLane discovers, accelerates and invests in high-potential startups with at least one woman in leadership. They also host events and leadership camps. Co-founded by Sue Heilbronner.
Women Who Startup: A global network of female entrepreneurs and innovators who are seeking rapid-learning and support from other entrepreneurs and mentors. Founded by Lizelle van Vuuren.
TARRA: Women Who Create, a global community of women who are innovating, transforming, creating, designing, writing, fabricating, building, and thinking outside the box. Founded by Kate Bailey.
National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT): non-profit community that convenes, equips, and unites change leader organizations to increase the meaningful participation of all women — at the intersections of race, ethnicity, class, age, sexual orientation, and disability status — in the influential field of computing, particularly in terms of innovation and development. Founded at CU Boulder by a group of amazing women.
